I am still enjoying the 5 inch pillar that has burned daily for hours. A soft beeswax scent and the long burn time have been impressive. I also have loved the smaller fern pillar that is currently burning in our kitchen. Again, an impressive burn time for the slightly smaller candle. Love all of the Beeswax Works Candles and customer service. :)

Dear Beeswax Works, we love your candles but were shocked to see that our furnace filter became black. We did research to, sadly, find out that bees wax candles are very hard on furnaces, mores than paraffin. We have a preemie born grandson so we can't take any chances. We are sorry to hear this about your experience. Candle care and regular maintenance of furnace filters is important in maintaining a healthy home. Generally beeswax is noted as a healthy alternative to parafin, which can contain VOCs. Our candles are 100% pure beeswax. Even our wicks are 100% cotton, with the exception of our tealights, votives and sweet heart candles, which have metal at the base. I've attached our website link regarding candle care, which includes notes about trimming wicks, drafts and proper extinguishing, to avoid excess smoke.

We definitely understand that dilemma! Beeswax Works candles can be enjoyed simply as decor, but it is especially beautiful with that simple glow of candle light. That candle is stunning and has an impressive burn time of 40+ hours!
